Beginning

Dikam's Story

Established in 2018 in alignment with government initiatives to bolster Rwanda’s domestic manufacturing sector, DIKAM Ltd embarked on producing ready-made apparel. Despite humble beginnings, our company has experienced rapid expansion, elevating our daily production capacity from 1500 to 1700 units within a year, while our workforce has grown to 241 full time workers, plus 150 youth under trainings and 80 teen single mothers under coahcing. , with 80% being women.

Specializing in the mass production of children’s outerwear such as dresses, shirts, trousers, and various uniforms, DIKAM Ltd aspires to emerge as a premier ready-made garment manufacturer in Africa.

We maintain a steadfast commitment to ensuring that each garment leaving our facility meets or exceeds market standards in both quality and affordability.

Addressing the issue of unemployment, DIKAM Ltd initially employed 30 workers and has since scaled up to 200 within a four-year span (2018-2022). We prioritize the continuous development of our workforce, providing essential training to equip them with the skills necessary to thrive within the company.

Specializing in children’s outerwear and uniforms, DIKAM Ltd aims to be Africa's leading garment manufacturer, ensuring high quality and affordability with the "Made in Rwanda" label. By providing essential training, we help our workforce thrive, addressing unemployment and contributing to Africa’s skilled talent pool.
