The DIKAM Training Center runs intensive garment-making courses of three to six months, taught by international trainers — and its graduation days are the best days on our calendar. The latest cohort collected their certificates in caps and gowns, right in front of the factory where they trained.

Around 600 people have now come through DIKAM training programmes, and roughly 400 have gone on to work at DIKAM or other factories. For most graduates — the majority of them young women — this certificate is a first formal qualification and a direct path to a wage.
